REFLECTION

We learn, we studied and now here we are, we are now graduating. 4^th quarter is the saddest part of being a high school life. High school life is a memorable. It has a lot of memories that you really can’t forget.. with your bestfriends. Being with them is a loneliness of 1, boredom of 2, happiness of 3 and a enjoyable of 4 but in craziness of 5 as we are. Those moments will remain in my heart. That will be the guide to have a memories with them.

MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

DREAM? It is always your basis. Your bridge to success. In having a dream you can’t get your trophy..

      Dream big! Dream high! Attain your life goals. Goals make your work, perfect. You should have your self-confidence for you to be a success person. And in future, you can have your new life. And it starts with you your future. Its defend on your work on how you do that.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.

This is a new year. A new beginning. And things will change.

kannawidan festivity!

Kannawidan is a festivity which the City of Vigan celebrates every year. In this festival, the Ilocano people showcase cultural shows, native products and the talents of the Ilocanos. 
Kannawidan Ylocos Festival became an annual festival that aims to create awareness on the preservation of the province' rich cultural heritage, practices and traditions, and a showcase of the different agriculture and industry products of the province.There is a need to preserve our rich heritage and unique culture. With this in mind, the provincial government of Ilocos Sur has conceived a festival that highlights these culture and traditions and attract local and foreign tourists as well. Dubbed the Kannawidan Ylocos Festival, it is also a commemoration of the anniversary of Ilocos Sur as a province.
This festival is very significant to every resident in the province as they are celebrating the foundation of Ilocos Sur as a province by virtue of the Royal Decree signed on February 2, 1818.
Ilocos Sur especially Vigan is branded as the Heart of Ilocandia by the Philippine Historical Committee. It’s a province very rich in culture and heritage. Kannawidan means traditions and this province got to showcase all what she has. On January 31 to February 6, 2011 several activities were lined up for the celebration.
There was the tribal performance of the cultural communities of Ilocos Sur which is so fascinating. They displayed their talents as well as their indigenous costumes. Partuat ken Patanor Trade Fair showcased the products of the province such as longanisa, bagnet, garlic, bibingka, tinubong and many other foods including handicrafts. There was even eating contests of these delicacies of Ilocos Sur as well as basi drinking contest. Traditional games were played and bingo as well.

Another grading has gone by, and this time I'm oblivious of it. It's feels as though I've never even entered the class for the whole grading period.                          

The topics must have been as interesting as ever. But no matter how much I want to miss none of the discussions, I cannot excuse myself from other obligations. I am currently the Editor in chief of The Dove so I had to help finish our first issue. Aside from that, I also attended some seminars scheduled close each date. As far as I’ve known, I’ve been out of the classroom for two straight weeks. That’s a lot to miss.

.Posting in our Blogs is not an easy one. My computer was damaged. My station in the computer lab has a very slow internet connection. To be honest, I'm an impatient person when it comes to internet connection. I easily get upset so never in my 4th year life that I'd used my station in posting in my blog. Sacrifice is really needed here. I went to computer shops and go home very late at night just to do these things. It's not an easy task but then, I still learned something here. Take good care of your computer.

Essence of Christmas

Christmas? Why do we need to celebrate Christmas? What does Christmas symbolizes to you?

Christmas is a Christian feast. Christmas is about love. Caring about another over yourself, spending the time to do the little things to make the holiday special for loved ones. As a mother, it give me great joy to see my children and their happiness as they open presents on Christmas morning. I also enjoy watching other friends and family open a gift that I shopped for and seeing that they truly like it. 

Christmas is also about togetherness. Being with the people you love, laughing, sharing a meal, sharing happy memories. 

Christmas is about giving. Doing things for others - collecting food for the needy, helping with toy distributions to needy children. Remembering those less fortunate.
